My father lived in his home for over 40 years. During that time he accumulated a lot of furnishings, tools, and personal items. As Executor of his estate, I, along with my family made the decision to sell his home. We knew we had a huge undertaking in front of us. I'm a retired construction professional, 35+ years as a carpenter/contractor/building inspector. After my father passed in 2012, I inherited assets that I used to purchase a second home in Martinez, CA. The project started mid 2018 with demo, then a foundation replacement and rebuild. Many things came and went during construction; Covid, supply chain issues, MASSIVE inflation etc, but finally, in mid-2024 I sold that home. I then bought a place in Minden NV.
